So sad, so true; what a beautiful homage to one of this world’s truly great artists. Don McLean’s ballad was always perfect….

I am living in isolation. Looking at great art in general and at this particular immersion into Van Gogh’s vision has helped me to retain my joy in life. What a gift he has given to us ! How wonderful to be able to imagine being up close and surrounded by it at this exhibit !

Interesting, those who criticize, never have been able to create. Those who can create, observe. Those of us that are left with observation, should simply contemplate.

Magnificent and the voice is so soothing even if the lyrics, true to life, are tragic. We need to learn how to listen radically, empathically from suffering souls In Van gogh’s case at least we can pay tribute to the beauty he created. And I feel so fortunate that I had opportunities to see many of his paintings in person.both in NY and Paris. Very much look forward to doing that again
