Amazing – all of it – the exhibits, the song, the movement through the galleries. Evoked a lot of feelings for me. Thank you.

So beautiful and the song is touching. Thanks.
August 20, 2020 @ 5:42 pm
To Frank, I hear what you are saying…and if someone had never seen Vincent’s paintings then perhaps they would seem underwhelming after this
light/video show. However, his work is probably the most recognized of all artists….and this exhibit just spins it off into another level, in my opinion.
I loved it! I felt as if I had stepped into his painting. The music added so much to that lovely experience. I say BRAVO to those talented wizards
that put this all together. ***A side note: There is a fairly well supported theory that Van Gogh did not commit suicide but was shot by a boy
who often taunted him when he walked past, but he believed it had been an accident…and he would not reveal it to police. Some have made it
their mission to collect data and evidence on this story. I find it quite believable. Check it out….its documented.

Roberta, I agree so beautiful! The paintings come alive with the music, the video effects and the people walking through the exhibit. Loved it! As I sit here writing this reply I gaze at one of your beautiful paintings in my home. Art is beautiful, it brings peace and touches the soul. Thank you for sharing your talent!

This piece is a work of art in and of itself. I quickly subscribed after watching it and checking with some friends. We watched this at ages 82 and 87. We are under quarantine (covid 19) since February. This wonderful piece brought to us the wonderful world of beauty so near and yet so far. Thank you so much.
August 24, 2020 @ 11:06 pm
I hope this production will inspire viewers to read Vincent’s letters which will give them more insights into his amazing personality, life and his work. There are also biographies of of his relationship with his brother Theo van Gogh without whom we would have none of Vincent’s work.
August 27, 2020 @ 7:39 pm
Touches the soul. A beautiful all encompassing video art.

August 27, 2020 @ 9:11 pm
What a pleasantly wonderful trip into his paintings! I loved the walk right threw them seeing brush strokes up close….just wonderful! A big thank you for the ride!!

Filled my eyes , my heat, my mind with beauty and awe. Thank you.
September 1, 2020 @ 11:35 am
Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings always evoke emotions in me, and showing these painting in this way brings them to life.
Don Mclean’s song Vincent, sung beautifully by Jim van der Zee, adds another dimension to the experience.
Thank you……….
September 3, 2020 @ 7:49 am
Incredible. Would love to see it.
September 6, 2020 @ 4:02 pm
Enjoyed a similar show in Les Baux de Provence and loved it. So wonderful to see they brought it to Paris. Really enjoyed the music and song with it.
September 7, 2020 @ 10:31 am
thanks for the wonderful experience. it brought this masterpiece to life. the artists who created this deserve unreserved bravos.
September 8, 2020 @ 3:31 pm
Amazing! Loved it.

This is visually magnificent. However, had someone — anyone — just given a thought to captioning the song, “Starry Night,” this could have been so much more appealing to people who are hard-of-hearing or deaf. Maybe I’ll just go back and watch it without the sound on at all.
September 9, 2020 @ 8:59 pm
Beautiful. Also beautiful is the song. Give credit to the composer/lyricist Don McLean.
The singer is nothing without the song.
September 11, 2020 @ 9:46 pm
I literally stopped breathing for a few moments ? as one who loves Art and the passion behind the paintings , I have always loved Van Gogh. As an Art teacher it was always a universal and transcending love amongst my students young and old. I found myself transcended watching this video – I don’t have words to describe the words in my soul. –
September 12, 2020 @ 10:06 am
Big fan. I’ve read a few books on his life and went to a couple exhibits. This conspiracy theory never popped up. Now I have a new adventure to discover what I can about the idea of being shot. Always on the prowl for new information. Thanks.
September 14, 2020 @ 9:12 am
Thank you, Phyllis, for enriching my life with this beautiful video and calming music. The exhibit was over the top spectacular.
Love, Barbara
September 29, 2020 @ 4:31 pm
This exhibit is enchanting! I have a recording of Jim Croce singing Starry Starry Night and he does an exquisite version also.
September 14, 2020 @ 5:06 pm
I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS MAN, PERHAPS IT IS TIME I FOUND OUT. JUST BEAUTIFUL, THE PAINTINGS , THE MUSIC, THE MELODY, HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITES, THIS TIME I LISTENED TO THE WORDS.
September 15, 2020 @ 3:22 am
Fantastic!! The title song only enhances the visual beauty. I’ve been to his home in Arles and seen most of his paintings from that period.
September 15, 2020 @ 10:43 am
Just enjoyable
September 15, 2020 @ 12:34 pm
Good show, but they could have cracked loose a few extra bench and chair pallets.
Is it any wonder not too many are seen walking the premises? Be kind to the elderly, is all I’m saying. Of course, you can always cut the visit short and go buy stuff at the gallery boutique – but how do you wrap up a light show?
Not to belabour the point, but think of the added stress of having left the car double-parked and running, in front of the place.
I will give this show a 5/5, even though there seems to be a preponderance of yellows and blues and a heavily marked antipathy towards the color of red. Is this a coincidence or a perfidious conspiracy by the Chromatic Lobby?
September 15, 2020 @ 3:58 pm
This is beautiful and the presentation is stunning! Thank you so much!
September 17, 2020 @ 2:40 pm
Totally Loved how this exhibit is presented and the song to accompany it is splendidly sung!!!!!!!!!!

That was just so beautiful and balm to the soul after all the trouble and nastiness in the world.A very big thank you to whoever did this and another big thank you to Wendy,my lovely daughter-in-law ,for sharing it with me.
September 22, 2020 @ 3:33 pm
I LOVED THIS, BEST THING ON THE COMPUTER. DID VINCENT SUFFER FROM MENIERE’S? I’VE GOT IT AND HAVE WANTED TO CUT OFF MY EAR. IT’S VERTIGO, AND I HEAR LOUD LOCAL SOUND WAY TOO LOUD AND YET AM VERY DEAF. I SEE THINGS FLYING APART, WALLS MOVING, WONDER ABOUT MY SANITY. I UNDERSTAND HIM BETTER. I LOVE HIS PAINTINGS, THIS IS WONDERFUL.
September 24, 2020 @ 11:45 am
how wonderful especially now with all the anxiety and anger in the world. Oh to be able to get on a plane and see it in person!
September 24, 2020 @ 2:07 pm
Awesome!
September 24, 2020 @ 5:51 pm
My Granddaughter, in College, sent this to me as she had loved it and knew I would. As a retired Art Teacher of 35 years I was blown away by it!
I love it and will keep it on my computer for as long as I can so I can revisit it often. I have stood at the spot where Vincent painted the old Church as well as in the Wheat Field where he was shot, (self inflicted or not). I have also stood in his room in Saint-Remy-de-Provence where he was hospitalized.
His story is so remarkable, so sad that it is true.
Love you Vincent!
September 24, 2020 @ 5:58 pm
This was quite moving and immersive. We need more of these kinds of art installments and it would be extra lovely for that to happen in southern California where I live.
September 25, 2020 @ 12:01 pm
Amazing Exhibit. What a gifted artist he was. This was on my computer on a rainy day. Needless to say, it was like a breath of sunshine and fresh air. Thank you for sharing.
September 26, 2020 @ 3:42 pm
The music and the art combination were perfectly matched. I loved every moment of it. Thanks
September 26, 2020 @ 5:13 pm
Simply beautiful piece of colourful riot! Thanks
September 27, 2020 @ 1:16 pm
Absolutely stunning – the song and trip through his paintings ..loved it
September 30, 2020 @ 7:29 pm
omg my soul freaking left my body when i saw the video but when i saw it in real left it was AMAZING so breath takin
October 1, 2020 @ 11:18 am
My favourite artist. The colours he used are mind blowing and have never been reproduced. His work was immense. He never stopped painting.
October 1, 2020 @ 12:04 pm
Gorgious display. Terrible music. Why do people with only about 5 tones in their head think they should write their own song.
October 2, 2020 @ 9:29 am
He didn’t write it. It was written by Don McLean in the early 70s.
October 4, 2020 @ 2:29 am
Yes…and written very well by McLean. One of my favorite songs.
October 6, 2020 @ 2:10 pm
my sentiments exactly. The singing is dreadful. if sounds must accompany anything and everything, why can’t it just be instrumental? and NOT guitar. Singing is the area most vulnerable to lack of, or no, training.
November 16, 2020 @ 9:39 am
That statement shows your lack of knowledge. It takes years of training to refine the voice.
December 22, 2020 @ 8:46 pm
Just so you know, you are the type of elitist, sociopathic, emotionally disconnected and self serving sufferer of delusions of grandeur that really puts a drag on the artistic experience for everyone.
October 9, 2020 @ 10:31 am
You clearly have no heart if the song doesn’t stir you. It belongs with the art and the artist.
October 16, 2020 @ 2:28 pm
Your wrong the music was beautiful, complementing the Art.
November 23, 2020 @ 5:12 pm
And then there are those people who may have studied enough music to think they can define taste for all; can I predict that you have never created a damn bit of it yourself? Guess you only have 4 notes. If you want to spread your negativism, at least have the decency and self-awareness to provide some cred.
December 4, 2020 @ 8:04 pm
One of the most poetic popular songs ever written – poignant, evocative, and full of more meaning about Van Gogh’s life and work than is ever likely to touch the lives of far too many.
October 1, 2020 @ 3:47 pm
Magnificent. Every thing about it.
October 2, 2020 @ 6:19 pm
First time I have been “in the picture” I would love to see this exhibit in person.
October 8, 2020 @ 9:33 pm
Magnificent. Thank you so much!
October 3, 2020 @ 11:12 am
Thrilling. Especially now. Wonderful. There can still be beauty amidst chaos, just look .
October 4, 2020 @ 10:40 am
I enjoy all of his paintings. My favorite is the Iris’s. I have several objects with that painting on them. Loved the music .
October 6, 2020 @ 6:41 pm
Beautiful! I love everything and enjoyed the.music.It is an old favorite song! Thank you so much! From the Philippines
November 8, 2020 @ 8:57 am

Can’t wait to travel, again! Would love to see this!
October 5, 2020 @ 2:21 pm
Absolutely breath-taking! Now I want to visit Paris more than I did before watching this beautiful video!
October 5, 2020 @ 5:29 pm
Fantastic. Thanks!
October 6, 2020 @ 5:59 am
Very worthwhile in these troubled political and Virus spreading times.
October 7, 2020 @ 6:13 am
Well, I thoroughly enjoyed the interpretation of this beautiful song. Art is all about interpretation.
Copying the original version would have been boring. Van Gogh, would no doubt agree.
Brilliant job Jim van der Zee.
October 8, 2020 @ 12:02 am
Inspiring and beautiful. Such a magnificent example of aesthetics and creating of a positive effect.
October 8, 2020 @ 8:44 am
Marvelous, simply marvelous! Think of being there in person! Thanks
October 8, 2020 @ 3:41 pm
Just beautiful! Art display and music. Wish I was in France and not the US. Why is it on 1FUNNY?
November 6, 2020 @ 7:17 pm
Breath Taking!
October 8, 2020 @ 8:03 pm
In times like these we are all going through is it not wonderful that we can see something Inspiring and Positive, The Art of Van Gogh and the music that was created depicting this man.
I cannot understand the negative comments.
We can go online to a beautiful place ” Paris ” and see a wonderful ” Art Exhibition of Van Gogh ” … and hear the music that is symbolic of his life.
October 9, 2020 @ 1:06 pm
Beautiful way to display this work. BOth the art and hearing this lovely song, one I grew up enchanted by, left me in tears.
October 9, 2020 @ 6:12 pm
The most incredible thing I’ve ever seen…….thanks ever so much to those behind it……..There will never be anything like it again……..
October 10, 2020 @ 8:44 am
If we ever get to travel again, we are returning to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. It is one of our favorite places to visit and re-visit. When friends and acquaintances ask us for bucket list recommendations, that is always on the list. I would have loved to be able to immerse myself in this exhibit. Fabulous way to showcase his talent.
October 13, 2020 @ 8:03 pm
I agree – would be wonderful to return to Amsterdam and continue to Paris before this departs.
October 11, 2020 @ 4:26 pm
I feel sorry for those who don’t ‘get’ this story and song. Pity them. So let those of us who enjoy it and do so with out any dissenting comments.
October 12, 2020 @ 3:14 pm
Very moving and truly beautiful…… art is what each person sees and interprets for himself. Not everyone is capable of understanding the complexities of either music or painting, unfortunately.
October 13, 2020 @ 8:11 am
Cleverly and sensitively done… both the music and the art… Thank you for the magic!
October 13, 2020 @ 8:01 pm
I liked it. Always did.
October 14, 2020 @ 11:46 am
Absolutely beautiful! It brought tears to my eyes.
Thank you for sharing this…
October 15, 2020 @ 12:39 am
Love it!
October 15, 2020 @ 6:23 pm
Beautiful!!! I am so fortunate to have an artistic and musical family, and innovative too..
October 17, 2020 @ 1:40 pm
Vincent is my favorite artist. His work is so beautiful and touching. Many years ago I saw an exhibit of his paintings at the Met in NYC and it brought tears to my eyes. I also love the the song.
October 17, 2020 @ 6:28 pm
Van Gogh truly lived the life he painted, full of emotions in both. I would have preferred Josh Groban’s rendition of this song for the emotion it emits, but appreciated hearing this version. Thank you for bringing this into my home during this time.
October 18, 2020 @ 1:40 pm
The best and most creative art exhibit I’ve ever seen. I think this would be an excellent way to introduce older children to the fine arts. (Younger kids might be overwhelmed by the size and movement of the images.)
October 18, 2020 @ 10:52 pm
Thank you to my cousin who shared this with me. The music and the art were amazing together.
October 19, 2020 @ 8:44 pm
Magical! Magnificent! TY! TY! Loved everything about this wonderful presentation caressed in music!
October 20, 2020 @ 10:06 am
This exhibit is absolutely gorgeous! So creative and makes me want to go to France immediately!
October 21, 2020 @ 8:01 pm
What an enjoyable exhibit soft music with fabulous art showing. A bit of culture and sanity in our crazy world. What the world needs now back to appreciation of fine things …..
October 27, 2020 @ 5:52 pm
October 27, 2020 @ 6:33 pm
Wow! This is really incredible! I love this 3-D exhibit.
October 30, 2020 @ 8:10 pm
What a joy it must have been to be at this amazing exhibit. Thanks for sharing with such beautiful music.
October 31, 2020 @ 7:52 pm
Magnificent and the voice is so soothing even if the lyrics, true to life, are tragic. We need to learn how to listen radically, empathically from suffering souls In Van gogh’s case at least we can pay tribute to the beauty he created. And I feel so fortunate that I had opportunities to see many of his paintings in person.both in NY and Paris. Very much look forward to doing that again
when the days of COVID are gone or, at the very least, subdued.
Kudos to the First Responders all over the world. Stay well, and cling to the capacity for joy !
November 1, 2020 @ 9:42 am
Absolutely beautiful. Even viewing this fantastic exhibit on my computer screen the beauty shines through.
November 3, 2020 @ 6:58 pm
Interesting, those who criticize, never have been able to create. Those who can create, observe. Those of us that are left with observation, should simply contemplate.
November 8, 2020 @ 9:51 am
I am living in isolation. Looking at great art in general and at this particular immersion into Van Gogh’s vision has helped me to retain my joy in life. What a gift he has given to us ! How wonderful to be able to imagine being up close and surrounded by it at this exhibit !
November 9, 2020 @ 4:34 pm
A feast for the eyes What a magnificent treat without leaving home Sent it my friends
Thank you
November 10, 2020 @ 1:32 pm
I just joined today, and being hearing impaired, I want to thank you so much for the closed captions!
November 13, 2020 @ 6:06 pm
So sad, so true; what a beautiful homage to one of this world’s truly great artists. Don McLean’s ballad was always perfect….
November 14, 2020 @ 9:36 pm
Many thanks for this beautiful moment of art and music.
November 25, 2020 @ 10:35 pm
This reminds me of the Team Borderless Tokyo light show in Odaiba.
Similar but altogether different feel.
Have seen the Odaiba show in person and loved it.
Would really love to see this one in person too.
November 27, 2020 @ 12:19 am
A wonderful tribute to a great artist. The music and words describe the feeling of the works and the artist to a tee. First thing I will visit when this pandemic is over and I return to Paris.
November 30, 2020 @ 7:27 pm
Well, I was moved to tears once I heard what the song was saying. We are left to wonder at the intensity of his life and the pain he suffered being so all alone. It is consolation for people who work in obscurity, trying to give something valuable back to the world.
November 30, 2020 @ 7:28 pm

December 7, 2020 @ 5:25 pm
How wonderful to be immersed in these beautiful larger than life scenes. The music complemented the art beautifully.
December 12, 2020 @ 11:31 pm
What a fabulous exhibit of Van Gogh’s works. The lovely accompaniment of excellent solo guitar and voice had a sweet, if somewhat sad effect on my tired self. Moments of reflection afterwards are soothing in these rough times. Thank you. (I’d have loved to see that exhibit in person)!
February 6, 2021 @ 10:50 pm
I don’t know much about artist’s and painting but this amazing! Thanks.
February 22, 2021 @ 9:31 pm
Awesome, thanks for sharing this experience. Wish I could be there…..
May 28, 2021 @ 4:37 pm
So beautiful and moving………. both the art and song. I believe it’s coming to Vancouver soon!
I’ve been to the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam and it brought me to tears of pure emotion.
March 25, 2022 @ 5:39 pm
I thought it was beautiful and immediately thought “I wonder what Van Gogh would think of it?” I hope he would find it as beautiful as I did.
July 16, 2022 @ 11:54 am
We were blessed to see van Goghs immersive exhibit in Cincinnati last month. It is going around the world so check a city near you and see if it’s coming to you. If it is get a ticket fast. It was mind blowing to see his art surrounding me in one large room. I am so appreciative of those who spent immeasurable hours putting this together for our enjoyment.
July 19, 2022 @ 9:20 am
He was truly a genius. Thank God for his talent and ability. I loved this presentation. Thank you for sharing this with us.
