Wildebeests Crossing the Mara River
This amazing footage of a herd of wildebeests crossing the Mara River was caught on film. Apparently they wanted to cross it all day and eventually did at 5pm.

Wow, so many of them. I agree with you Sandy. They trampled into the water, and I think some of them probably hurt their legs and ankles. Glad there was no crocodiles. I guess, they were rushing to get across as fast as they could. This is a amazing video capture.

Probably some trampling as well as exhaustion. I took note of only one that might have been a (calf?). Not sure if the youngsters are called calf’s. I would imagine the noise from the Wildebeest that is on the video would be nothing compared to actually being there and hearing them. Fascinating video, well done and amazing seeing so many together.
