Remember pin-up girls during WWII. The skin not shocking
I mean they had to get this stuff sold! And its only drawings. Very good ones, too! These were about a decade before StarTrek. I wonder of any ideas for the show came from the comics?
I have to agree with Lin. I’m quite surprised that they showed so much skin in ‘comic’ books of the 50’s. Can’t say I remember seeing them that way at the time.
Otherwise, I thought they were a hoot! Thanks for the giggle.

I didn’t care for any of them. The skimpy dressed women, the weird creatures. Not my cup tea.

Well Jean they were trying to sell to the teen boys of that era. I like sci fi but these were not my cup of tea.

Only three of these so called comics did not show womens breast as a selling point. I did not care for this at all!

I’m shocked they showed so much skin back then.
