Without doubt this was the most incredible whale encounter of my career, which occurred on the final day of our three-week whale research project in Antarctica (Feb 2020). I had an experience like that in Nova Scotia when the whales were migrating. It was awesome ! Never felt scared!

Amazing experience…to be able to commune at such close quarters with these immense and beautiful animals.

I’m overcome with emotion when I see these beautiful, intelligent, gentle giants. To be able to look into those eyes and wonder how and what they think of the ocean, others that live in the ocean with them and humans. I pray to God that we don not destroy their environment and them in the process.
