Thanks for the birthday greetings, Ruby, Lin & Lola. I did have a nice day. My hubby & I went to the morning worship service at church, where I also play the piano. Several people wished me a happy birthday. One elderly lady hugged me & stuck something in my hand. When I went out to the car, she had handed me a $20. bill. How sweet of her! She used to be our organist, but she is too feeble. She still drives herself to church tho. She will be 83 next month. Then we went home. had a bote to eat & had birthday cake. It was strawberry with pink frosting & pretty daisies on it. Then my stepson & his girlfriend stopped by & brought me a giant chocolate chip cookie that said Happy Birthday, Joy on it in pink frosting. Real sweet of them. I opened a few gifts. I talked to a few family members on the phone. All my brothers & sister live in OR & the state of WA. My youngest son lives in eastern OR & my oldest son lives in Alaska, along with my 2 grandsons, ages 6 & 3. I miss all of them. I live in western KY. Hope to go to Alaska this summer. Thanks for making my day, girls!

Happy Birthday to all of you. I am 78 and hope to add more. I also am half Irish and that is the half I choose to be. Irish laughter, Irish eyes, and RED Irish hair; (with just a little gray) well I’m married to a non-Irish so what do you expect? Again Happy Days and a long, long life.

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Joy, happy birthday to you. And many more. I turned 64 on December 10th, and I’m happy to say that people say that I look like I’m 55 yrs old and act like I’m 40 yrs old. I love jet skiing, horse back riding, swimming, dancing (line dancing especially) singing, I sing for weddings and funerals and on stage in concert, write articles, poetry and short stories, go mini golfing and much more. If you were closer, you and I could go out and party. HAVE A GREAT DAY JOY, YOU DESERVE THE BEST. MAKE THE MOST OF IT AND THE MOST OF YOUR LIFE, FOR LIFE IS SHORT. HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY TO EVERYONE TODAY.

I loved this, I didn’t find this insulting at all and I’m part Irish. Tomorrow is St Patrick’s Day, have a drink on me everyone, I would come and join you if I knew where all of you were. Enjoy the laughter here and don’t take life so seriously. The Irish aren’t always the blunt of jokes. Take it from one who knows.
