Train Plowing Through SNOW!
Canadian National Railway locomotive 2304 (ES44DC) plows through huge snow drifts and gives a big snow shower as it leads the daily CN manifest train 406 West (Moncton, NB to Saint John, NB) at Salisbury, New Brunswick.

having worked for CN 40+ years, traveling across Canada many times, remember when CN crews were brought to London ON for training in heavy snow from all parts of Canada.

I don’t understand why there wasn’t a snowplow on the train. Couldn’t believe people were trying to beat the train to the intersection. Very stupid on their part

Wonderful. The train driver riding blind. How scary is that! How could such a video be boring? There was the same amount of snow after the crossing. Just needs a little imagination. Freight trains ARE long! Loved it, loved Canada, loved their trains.

Looks like a monster when it’s plowing through the snow.

Awesome, never have seen anything like this. Now the town/ city has to plow the street, that’s where some went.
Lived where snow was sometimes is higher than that…..since moved where it hardly ever snows ( down South)….

I have seen a similar method in Switzerland with deeper snow, but they use a snowplow on the front with 9 or 10 foot blades
that spin very fast. It’s called The Glacier Express. Probably the most beautiful views in summer or winter. Look it up.

Wow, the is a cool video. I never seen nothing like this before in Alabama. Rarely does it snows here. A lot of snow there.
