I had a dog who went out and always came in to go. Made me so mad that he went to a nice lady who just loved him. Guess she got him trained, I didn’t see him again.
I was given an, all but feral, nearly 4 mo. old kitten. She had NO CLUE what a litter box was, and now, a month later, she loves her litter box, so much so, that when she comes in from playing outside, she runs over to the box, does her thing, then runs back outside to continue playing.
I had a dog that was guilty of the same crime, only the carpet was his “litter box”. He eventually learned where to go and not go, but ruined my carpet in the meantime! Talk about GROSS!

Neat. Wish mine did that when they were alive.
