Why are so many assuming the child is lying? What if it’s the parents who are creating the response for the video?
So the question is : are they reinforcing her to vehemently tell the truth?

Talk about overkill… Yes, she is an adorable toddler gabbling in toddler-speak, but making her repeat that same thing over and over to make a video just loses the funny.

Not funny at all. Wait till she is older and screams at her parents. She will be running the house.

Come on people….this was done in a lite hearted manner. No harm intended. Instead of showing this video at graduation , try showing it at her wedding …….after the I do’s. ???

I agree with you. People actually wanting her to be spanked over this is cruel. Maybe they need to be hit themselves and see what it’s like. This was all in fun. The idea of showing this at her wedding would be hilarious. I think of that idea often when I see little ones doing hilarious things.

What this little girl is learning far too young is how to lie. Her parents need to have her seen by a child psychiatrist and yes, they do work with children up to age three. Watching this little girl demonstrate this type of behavior is not the least bit humorous. And she obviously learned it from watching and listening to someone older. The seeds are definitely sprouted. Nip this type of behavior in the bud now or you’ll be sorry.

All children lie when they think they’re in trouble. I agree that it’s up to the parents to teach her that lying is not good and will get her in trouble. Hitting her at this age would be a tad egregious. She should be , none the less, that it is wrong to lie. She is so adorable.
