More interesting than doing regular exercises that you get bored fast and don’t want to do it anymore. If I didn’t have bad knees, I would be out there doing the ‘HOP, SKIP AND JUMP’. Great cardiovascular activity.
Lola: I agree this is a good cardio exercise in the video. I’m not sure if it’s good for everybody especially kids’ bones development structure in the feet and legs. I have a cousin who used to walk tip toed all the time when he was young and now his foot bone has formed in a way that it effected his legs and hips. It’s some type of muscle disorder called MSD, I think that’s the name of it. When exercising you have to be very motivated and adjust to your body pain tolerance. I think having bad knees, this exercise is not good to do.
It looks like it probably was made between the late 70’s and early 80’s. Yes it is an old video, but cool to watch. I thought he was carrying a boom box…lol! Now we know this video is old…think about how much money he spent on batteries because batteries in boom boxes didn’t last no more than a hour and half. I noticed also the shoes are Sauconoy. I didn’t know Sauconoy shoes was out back then. Those are some comfortable shoes.
