Now we are Wired to the internet.
We became Robots. It has ruined our lives. Banks scams, business scams romance scams. Family only get in touch with internet. No phone calls only rarely. I wish we could go back to the sixties were we sent letters overseas or just visit our relatives in the same city or a few miles away.

If you didn’t live those times, you have no concept, zero. Your grand kids, great grand kids, probably have a hissy fit if they can’t find the remote. Other than that, glued to a smart phone or computer gaming.

I had to laugh about the remote. I told my grand-kids that I was my dad’s remote. “Go get up and change the channel.” That’s a direct quote. ?

I agree that this isn’t all that funny. It’s actually sad that we’ve come to this.

And, how…those were the days. Throwing fireworks at each other, Slip-N-Slides, climbing trees (without climbing gear or helmets), jumping our bicycles over ramps we built from wooden boxes and boards, going fishing, catching fireflies, playing outside unattended (Mom: “Don’t come back until dinner.”), playing kickball and dodgeball, falling off the monkey bars, swinging high on a swing set and jumping off the at the top, and on and on.

Amen! Most of us survived unscathed; but we all learned lessons from our experiences!
