I have news for all of you. I was just at the canyon in August and one of the top things they stress to you on the bus ride from the parking lot at the south rim anyway is that an average yearly count 250 people will fall to their deaths each year! As a matter of fact I had to get after a young man and lady who were peering dangerously close such as the pic above. I reminded them that they were getting ready to be statistics. They got upset with me at first but realized I was right and thanked me. If you have never been, do not tempt fate and be a fool just for a stupid better shot of a picture. Still the most spectacular place I have ever seen!!

that’s at the Grand Canyon in Arizona and there are many places easy to get to like that there….to the left of the shot there’s a parking lot and fence and that fool is a park ranger’s nightmare

Puts a whole new meaning to the saying: “Take a long walk off a short pier.”
