I looked it up & its a red squirrel. It only has the furry ears in the winter, but loses the furry tufts in the summer. Very interesting!

I was going to say the same thing about the ears. I’ve never seen such long, furry ears on a squirrel before. I wonder what state he is in? How lucky could he get on coming on such a stash of nuts for hibernating for the Winter!!
