Now to the rest of you: My earlier comment was in
joking. Caterpillars are larvae and usually require little
to no food. I don’t believe they are these. I think that
the trees have bag worms as previously stated by Jeanne.
None of us can really know from this picture of distant
trees. However, it was fun to guess. Gregg was wrong
to ASSume that everyone else on here was American.
I am American. Hmmmm and they say Americans are
    rude.

    Gregg: Go back to school.
FURTHERMORE, YOU WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO BE
    AN AMERICAN, BUT YOU’RE NOT!

I didn’t know caterpillars ate bugs. I thought they ate the leaves on the trees.
It looks like a bad infestation of what we call bagworms (which I guess are probably caterpillars).

You damm idiots! These are photos of spiders that escaped flood waters in Pakistan, a phenomena that has had a positive environmental benefit reducing the spread of malaria by keeping mosquito populations down. Get it folks? Your caterpillars are eating the mosquitos. Americans are pathetic.
