Cats are litle acrobats, they can sleep anywhere. My two little kittens sleep on top of the bird cages in the front aviary. There they are safe, shielded from the sun and the rain. They grew up in the aviary and do not bother or upset the birds. Delightful little creatures and they keep the snakes, rats and squirrels from bothering the birds. They really earn their keep. Funny they do not hunt or stalk the wild birds but they are good ratters. We live in the country in Fl. and rats are a problem in rural areas. Feral cats serve a useful purpose and should be treated kindly….even by those who do not like cats.
