Wimbledon’s tennis matches have been plagued by pesky pigeons for years until they enlisted Rufus as part of their security team. Pigeons be warned!

Rufus is a predator and as such I don’t think he ought to be allowed on the hallowed lawns where a sport like tennis is played with all the rules adhered to. Better carry on with the small boys chasing off the birds else Wimbledon too will get a rotten name like the dreadful fox hunting and other blood sports so loved on the island……………..

This is a great video with the voice narration. I think the bird is a hawk. The claws are huge. It is a good security to have to keep the pigeons away. Hawks are very smart birds. Amazing video!

Rufus is a magnificent Bird and indeed a hunting Bird.He and his Handler were hired to do a Job,which was to get the Pidgeons,which do leave a nasty Mess behind,off the Wimbledon Tennis courts.This is what he does and does well.
You have to admire the way that Creature flies!It really is awesome, how he move his wings so gracefully.Wonderful to watch!
