It was all about him. He did the fancy footwork alone, he looked away from her while he was doing it and he kept checking in on the older woman on stage who was clapping. He smiled several times at her. He didn’t share the limelight with his partner by setting anything up for her to do. She was there to anchor and follow him. A very polished performance despite that.

He is good, really good and he makes his partner look good. Focus mainly on him and reminds me a little of a young Fred Astair.
