Restocking a Lake with Trout
Occurred on April 8, 2020 / Maple Valley, Washington, USA. “Twice a year one of the residents (Lee) on our lake goes door to door to collect money so that we can keep our beautiful lake stocked with lots of fish. Most everyone is pretty good about chipping in. I happened to be driving by and noticed the truck that stocks the lake was getting ready to release the trout. I pulled over to watch and decided to capture this interesting process. These aren’t just little babies, these are great big, mature fish that will give you a good fight. Such a wonderful hobby and past time for the residents in our community to enjoy. I think you’ll find this video very unique. Enjoy! Fun fact, it takes about 2 weeks for the fish to acclimate to their new environment.” What did you think?
