I usually like Larry, but he could be funny without the references to ‘hare-lip’ and ‘retard’. NOT FUNNY.
It always amazes me when comedians who have so much talent need to resort to something that can hurt someone. That is so 5th grade, before the kids were corrected by adults that it’s just plain mean to make fun of disabilities over which people have no control. When I was in 5th grade some of the kids were making fun of the kids from the Jerry Lewis Telethon. I was only 10 yrs. old, but didn’t laugh. It was not funny, and I said so. (I’m in my 60s now).
Larry doesn’t need to do this. He’s got too much going for him. I usually find him to be hysterical. His timing and delivery are impeccable. I think this lapse in judgment was just that. KEEP GOING LARRY.
