As an avid Second Amendment supporter, I say REAL men might use their
fists, but SURVIVORS carry the gun. Come on people, if three thugs
cornered you, you would pray……you’d pray for a gun.
see this is why criminals get guns and use them……some Americans prefer to pray….. I’m not saying prayer isn’t good but did God say we should stand and pi## our pants when faced with a loaded gun?
If my daughter had carried a gun, she would not have been attacked and beaten and left for dead in a ditch. In todays’ world, if you don’t have some sort of protection, you hold your life in your hands. My daughter is deaf in one ear, has panic attacks, is depressed, and has two herniated disks because of the beating. She has never hurt anyone, and has only helped anyone who needed help. It was senseless, and I only wish I had given her a gun to protect herself.
I find it very interesting that someone who did not know my Drill Sargent would say tha the was stupid. He was a veteran of WW II and Korea. He made the landing at Normandy and was in the Chosen Res. That man had lived a life that very few could have and stayed alive. His job was to teach a bunch of 17 to 23 year olds to stay alive in Viet Nam. Before you cast judgement it would be much better if you knew some facts before you make that judgement. My guess is that this person is less than 30 and has never been where your life depends on your mind set.

@Carla GOOD POINT! GOD helps those who helps themselves so I have read. Prayer is a wonderful thing but I still carry my gun. Seriously.
