Osprey Bird Rescue
These bird watchers discover an Osprey bird struggling and attempt to rescue it after realizing it has gotten is foot caught in a clam. One of the watchers pries the clam open, releasing the bird. The bird later flies away from them.

Never travel in the wild without some basic small tools. One never knows what one will come across do one?
Seriously, a leatherman is a knife, pliers screwdrivers (Phillips and regular) and file all in one folding device which comes in a leather sheath.

I agree with you Love, the bird was calm. I noticed the person working to get the clam off of it’s foot did the right thing too, by covering the eyes to help keep it calm. I would say that it was shivering due to being cold or scared one probably more so on the latter. God bless these people for helping one of God’s beautiful creatures.

Good rescue for the osprey … must have been a cell phone for the quality is less than wonderful.
