Moving a Mobile Home Over a Creek
Occurred on March 13, 2018 / Lebanon, Missouri, USA. A homeowner needed a mobile home moved but had a couple of complications. The house had to cross a creek. The moving guys spent 3 hours in the morning filling the creek with hay-bales, logs, slabs of wood, and tires to build a road. What took them three hours to build took the truck driver 19 seconds to cross. When they say that they will do everything in their power to get your house moved they really mean it! Typical American “can do” attitude. In some countries and even some of our states the mobile home would have fallen apart from old age before all the environmental studies, safety checks, and regulatory junk was completed.
