Wonder if the mouse even knew that the cat was there. He was going back & forth near the construction.

NewYork seriously has a rat problem. Wow I was wondering about the mouse. Ninna post above was very helpful to understand. Well except for pronouncing the word (toxoplasmosis gondii) I’m still trying to figure out how do you say it. Lol. Tox’o’plas’mo’sis gon’dii. Lol. The mouse and cat is Tom & Jerry. Lol!

This mouse is probably infected with the Toxoplasmosis gondii parasite. This infection makes the mouse want to be near cats – of course the mouse does not realize that the cat will be very bad news. That’s the short answer.
The longer answer is that the parasite need to get into the cat’s system to be able to procreate. So the parasite has actually gotten into the mouse’s brain and is directing it to go “play” with cats.
