Mother Elephant Protects Calf from Tourists
Incredible video showing how a mother elephant stops her calf from going any closer to spectating tourists. Almost as if she is saying “Don’t talk to strangers”.

That is very good teaching and a great mother’s love and protection. Great post above. Looks like an African elephant

African elephants ear are also much larger the their Asian cousins. In addition, seen from the side the African has an almost square forehead while the Asians is more rounded.

What is so cool about elephants is that you can tell whether they are African or Asian by their ears. African elephants have ears shaped like Africa and Asian elephants have ears shaped like Asia. Pretty cool huh? I learned this from some elephant handlers that was at the Salem Fair in Salem, Virginia one summer.

What a wonderful example of mother love and protection by this Mom and her baby! Animals are not too different from humans after all! Lovely video!
