The model in heels that wobbled should not be on any runway. They have those new platform heels that women can walk in.
Whoopi Goldberg has tons of them on the shoe cam. Oh yeah, & most women dress for other women ( competition thing),
don’t want to be out done.

No Lin I didn’t. I actually went onto facebook, but something I’m doing is wrong. People have told me that they had sent messages to me, and either I lost them, or, I’m not doing facebook right. I always have trouble with facebook for some reason. I would love to see the message, can you put it on here? Or would you like my e-mail address. Please advise.

    Love,
    Lola

P.S. I also use to feel sexy in heels, and most men that I dated loved me in them. With the knee replacements, I’m going to ask the surgeon if I can wear heels….not real high ones of course, but enough to give my legs that sexy look appeal. Boy these drugs are making me “bad”…lol

    P.S. I’ll try facebook again.

My insurance wouldn’t cover going to a Nursing Home. I rather be home and have people come here. Was in the hospital a month, can’t understand why some patients were up and about in two weeks…the surgeon told me that was what it would take to get me up and about, but I think my complications on the other issues gave me a set back. I will keep your friend in my prayers, tell her she’s not alone. Trust me it is truly painful after the surgery, never thought it would be as painful after the surgery as it was before. Please keep me informed on her progress.

    Love,
    Lola

Good to hear from you Lola. I posted to you in FBook. My friend in Fl. is also having the same problems sitting and moving. She even went to a nursing home for a month.

Hi Ruby and everyone, it’s Lola. I’m finally back home after having both knees replaced on January 3, 2013 and came back home on January 28,2013. Still going through a bought of pain (not as severe as before surgery,) but after surgery OMG unbearable. But I had other issues with dangerously low potassium, whereas they had me four excruciating hours of IV in the veins with potassium and put me on a bed of ice. Once that goes directly through the veins through an IV, the pain is unbearable, then they had to give me four pills of potassium once that was over. In addition I had a mini stroke whereas I couldn’t go for physical therapy for three days, and yet, once pulled out from under on that was sent home on the following day which was January 28th. From then until the present, I’m learning to walk all over again. I have a nurse, physical therapist, and caregiver here at the house. The caregiver 24-7 is here, as I can’t take care of myself, my animals, or anything. Presently, I still can’t bend my knees to get into the tub/shower, so sponge baths it is. I can’t sit any longer then ten minutes or else I can’t get up from the chair—any chair!!!! I just got off the walker last week, they have me trying to walk steps with a cane at least once a day. Six steps up to my bedroom takes me at least 1/2 hour getting up. Someone has to be behind me going up, in front of me going down. I haven’t seen the surgeon as yet since I’ve been home as I can’t get a ride that easily, and I’m not allowed to drive (YEAH LIKE I COULD RIGHT NOW WHEN I CAN’T EVEN WALK UP AND DOWN STEPS.)
So that’s the latest. I want to thank those of you that were in touch either by phone, e-mail, or here on 1 funny.com I have 1,452 unread messages, but I can only respond to a few in a ten minute time span. My physical therapist once me to up the time in the chair a minute each time I’m on here…easier said then done, as my caregiver is taking care of the house, my animals and me, and I need help getting off the chair.
So my time is now up my dear friends. Thank you all so much for your prayers, thoughts, concern and support. It meant and still means so much. I really need to say bye for now, but please keep in touch.

    Love,
    Lola

Most men like women in high heels …

On another subject, has anyone heard from Lola?

I’m sorry but women in high heels look rediculous especially when they are so high they can’t walk in them. Have you ever seen women who have worn high heels all their lives when they get old…..???? yuck!!
