After living with linoleum through my childhood it was very interesting to learn it’s history. I’m sort of excited it’s coming back. I do remember one thing for sure it was super easy to keep clean. ??? for linoleum.

You bit about linoleum – in the ‘50’s I worked in the head office of Sir Michael Nairns, linoleum manufacturers in Kirkcaldy Scotland. He invented linoleum, congoleum in sheets and in tiles. Your article took me back. Thank you.
