You should have a derby for big fish, not that you need more publicity. I’ll get a pass and come for cold margarita. Ole’!

Sounds like a lot of fun and fellowship. How would someone from Florida like me find such a place to visit for a FEW hours (since I’m 81 years old! )

I’m from Devils Lake ND and ice fished for 50 years. There is nothing more fun. Live in Arkansas now and really miss my ice fishing. Never seen a bar set up on our lake however. I am familiar with Lake Lida as we spent a few weeks on Blanche Lake in the summer.
We didn’t have an ice house but would set up a table and picnic while we were fishing. Once had a Northern so large it wouldn’t fit through the 8 inch hole so had to go to town and buy a 10 inch auger.
If you haven’t ice fished you don’t know what fun you have missed.

What about power? Does the bar have a generator?

Yup, that’s what it’s like in Northern Minnesota-lots of ice fishing. Nothing better than walleye being caught from under the ice.
