Happiness is surviving the race and fortunate enuf to reside in Geezerville, AZ. It’s a worthwhile goal. My only concern now is outliving my nest-egg.

I agree with Rose-marie and Alison. We’re living in a very shallow world, where some people judge you by the home you have, the car you drive, the clothes you wear, and what your social status is. All that matters is a person’s character – not the colour of their skin, their religious beliefs, nationality, sexual orientation. Now we have all this excitement about being able to buy marijuana legally, even have it delivered. How sad and shallow that is. We’re living in a “me too” time. So thankful my family & friends are not like that.

That is a pretty good description of what it is like for some people. For me, Happiness comes from within us. It is not how much money we have, the type of car we drive, or if we have the best house on the street. If we are not content and happy within ourselves, then no amount of material things is going to make us happy. Thank you for sharing and God Bless.
