Liz, don’t know where you got your data about the Chinese wearing surgical masks due to pollution. What I do know is that they wear the masks to protect against germs, especially in the more crowded places like Hong Kong. The whole world needs to focus on being more conscious of their carbon footprints and aware of the consequences. Be your own Erin Brockovich by being a good steward of the earth.
It’s NOT fog, the inhabitants of China all wear surgical masks, which will NOT protect their lungs, even a little. They need gas masks. The pollution in China makes L.A. look like Australia! As people on this planet, we need to do something about changing the rules – This planet needs Erin Brockovich EVERYWHERE! God help us, please…………… That terrible pollution will travel the entire globe, just as the ash from volcanoes. In time, if they aren’t stopped, they WILL pollute the world.
I didn’t get it either, gramms. Not that I defend China but how do you know it is smog and not just fog? Joy’s husband must be mad a lot because it is almost impossible to find made in the USA anymore. I still keep looking and supporting those that are.
