Yup! That’s exactly how it was…. looking for our hidden Easter Basket first thing Easter morning and hoping the dog didn’t find it first, how our Mom would dress us for church (whether we wanted to wear that dress or not!)…and then we did the same thing to our kids when they were young in the 1970s…and they had many of the same thoughts and memories as we did when we grew up in the late ‘1940s and early’50s. But the best part of the day was…the candy!
