In 1957, Grace Braeger of West Bend traded in her old car, threw down $2,250 hard-earned dollars and bought a ’57 Chevy. Since that day long ago, it’s been her only car. Video by Michael Sears. 1957 was 63 years ago!!! (not 53 like the headline states.) Great video. Did she have to cross over a double line to avoid hitting the camera crew? Love this lady and her car! I hope she has a garage to protect it. I am 63, and my first car was a horrible Ford Granada demonstrator and I paid three times what she paid with a loan in 1978. She has been very blessed! WONDERFUL, THAT IS THE CAR MY HUSBAND HAD WHEN I MET HIM. IT WAS TURQUOISE. WE BOTH LOVED THAT CAR AND WE HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES. THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
