Another idea: this may become common place given the “crazies” who have terrorist plans for the general public. Hope those are on other sites…

I love the dogs outfit! So cute! Look at the crowd in the background taking pictures. Not a usual drug deal, most likely a show of some kind.

This is cute. I can just see a cop doing that with my dog. My dog is a MinPin, with the attitude of a big Dobie……….lol.

@SWTSIS: C’MON! Chill out! This photo was taken at a dog show and the owner asked the policeman to do what he did based on the dog’s costume. The policeman obliged. I’ve heard America has lost its sense of humor, you guys are proof that it has.

swtsis, I thought it would be something like that. I guess drug dealers will use any method they can to transport drugs. So sad. This is not really a funny pic.

It is a sad statement for our some members of our society, but some sickos force drugs (balloons) down a dog’s throat, trot off to their drop with their “best friend”. Sometimes, powerful laxatives are used on the dog to retrieve the stash. If the dealer and “pal” are followed the dealer may run abandoning the dog rather than being caught. Not all law enforcement officers will “pat” the dog down thinking it’s an innocent bystander. The dog may spend a night at the pound as a stray, get picked up later by someone in the drug dealer’s circle and the drop continues. Sometimes, the balloons rupture and the dog will die of an overdose. This picture isn’t as innocent or stupid as it looks.

I don’t know what the dog could have done except something naughty on the sidewalk or lamp post…
