I rescued a Bullmastiff……….. I went from a full size bed to a Cal. King and still only get about a foot and a half to sleep on and he takes my pillows

Well, My cats will sleep on the bed with me and sometimes my dog, but I always have enough room. If they are where I want to be I move them. But I do love to wake up being greeted by my pets. When I go on vacation I miss them so much!

I am 75 years old today and have slept with pets all my life – mostly cats but a couple of dogs as well. I love the warmth of feeling a loving creature beside me and sometimes under the covers. I have a cat right now that lays crossways in the bed and when I wake in the morning, I find myself with only a small space and the cat with most of the bed – Oh, well, to each his own is right and I choose to let my animals to feel at ease.

Too many dog hairs for my taste! I treasure my sleep time — wouldn’t want it disturbed! To each his own!

And where is the room for a spouse/partner?
Not good to allow your pet in the bed!!!

YUP That is what my dog does too. She likes to lay sideways too. If I don’t claim my spot before she gets settled I wouldn’t have anything. lol
