What is it eith humans who own small or fluffy small dogs, its bad enough being so small let alone making them look ridiculous.
If they were meant to wear shoes they would have born with them.
Poor little man did not like them atall..

Some of you are way to serious with this. Not abuse at all. Sometimes it for the safety and comfort of the dog. My dog wears boots in the winter to keep the salt and snow out of his fur and paw pads. It just takes a little getting used to.

I thought it was funny and cute!

Well, I think everyone meant well by their comments.
We can’t let it upset us. Let’s hope that this little
doggie is loved and the people make it happy.

I put a doggie coat on my dog when it is very cold outside, but he likes it. It keeps him a little warmer and dryer. The dog in the video doesn’t seem to like these shoes. I’ve never made any animal look embarrassed and vedioed them just for intertainment. My dog is a short hair boxer and gets cold easy and that is the only reson he wares a coat. God with His wisdom made animals to withstand the weather. Man made them so they needed to dedend on human.

I do not own a dog but it seems to me it does not like the shoes and his/her friends are even checking to see if it is really him/her.

…I think you’re all forgetting that God gave the animal fur to keep it warm…That it will not ‘catch cold’ if it goes outside without clothing…also that the clothing rubs the fur ‘the wrong way’…

Margaret, I do apoligize if my message sounded so “harsh” or “abusive”, it was not the intent. My message was just my opinion, but I made the mistake of not thinking, abuse to an animal is not only injuring an aninal, but realized abuse to an animal can also be verbal, emotionally, and mental. So I was wrong. The video is cute, but can be mental and emotionally upset the pup. When I put any clothing on my pup before taking her out, I let her wear it about 15 minutes a day so she can get used to it.
P.S. I remember when my son was little and he wanted a pair of cowboy boots. He walked just like this dog. Now that was funny! I had to get him used to wearing them for awhile ahead of time before he finally liked to wear them. 🙂

Did your own children walk funny, pull faces , try to pull the offending garment off the part of their body that felt uncomfortable ….bawl…. in protest to having to wear something they did not like the feel of…don’t think anyone ever got charged with abuse of their children for this….. clothing is a more a natural thing to find on the human body but it is becoming more popular for owners of animals to try and give protection to their animals from the elements of seasonal weather….even if it sometimes fits into the sublime or the ridiculous category it has a beneficial use most of the time being it for human or animal……..

Ruth, you keep telling us to ask “others”. We don’t
need to ask anyone about what WE think is right.
It’s obvious that these people made the dog wear the
boots so they could video tape it and get a LAUGH.
This was NOT about the dog. THERE IS A THING CALLED
EMOTIONAL ABUSE. If you bring an animal UNHAPPINESS
on purpose and find it amusing like these people, it can
be considered a form of abuse. A.S.P.C.A does not
influence me in anyway. I know right from wrong.
Perhaps these people did not intend to do this to the
dog. Let’s ask this: WOULD THEY HAVE DONE THIS
TO THEIR CHILD AND POSTED IT ON THE INTERNET FOR
ALL TO LAUGH AT? You have the right to your opinion.
Everyone else has the right to find your opinion abusive
    and NOT endearing to animals.
