Thank you Lamia for your answer, that was my point, but as I said, everyone has their own opinion. I do not watch the show, Animal Planet. To me, there is a lot of animal videos where an animal “can” be hurt or hurt itself and folks laugh at some of the videos. To me, some of the things that the animals do on this show is “not” funny at all. I am not trying to start a debate, it is just my opinion.
I also don’t think its animal abuse…my neighbour’s pampered dog never gets out of the house without his shoes and he walks very comfortably with them.
maybe this dog needs some time with the new shoes before he can get used to it
What is the difference of putting a “shock training collar” on a dog or just putting on these shoes? If you have a very small dog, would you take him/her out in the cold, for ANY reason, vet, emergency, etc. without anything on him/her and let it catch a cold or get their death of sickness? Everyone has their own opinion on this, I gave mine. Ask any vet or anyone, should I take my pet outside without anything to protect it from the coldness, see what they say!
…@ Ruth…you define abuse to an animal is when it is being tortured…well I agree with the first 4 comments… that pup with the yellow boots is being tortured. I think it is MEAN to make an animal wear clothing…
First, how is this pup being abused? Second, she is just uncomfortable. I think it is cute. I have a shih tzu, 6 months old, and she wear’s a jacket/hoody with little booties when she goes out. If you think this is animal abuse, contact the A.S.P.C.A., they will laugh in your face. My pup is going to be spayed, she will have to wear a neck cone on her for two weeks so she does not tear out her stitches, is that abuse? Abuse to an animal is when it is being tortured.

I think it is terrible to do that to a dog. You see how unfortable her/she was.
