    Loved it!… First thing that caught my eye were the people and clothing styles, then the technology and buildings ie; the iron/steel work and the beautiful architecture of the buildings that I am sure are still standing. (saw alot of my hometown Limestone, Bedford Indiana, that was used on alot of New York buildings!!) Loved the boats in the Harbor and got a kick out of the Riverboats. It’s nice to put faces with what we have read about that time frame in the U.S. I kept thinking that Mark Twain was going to appear in front of the screen!!

    My grandmother was a young wife and mother in NYC at this time almost like being there. Simply fascinating thanks so much.

    How times have changed! I don’t think I saw one adult who was not wearing a hat!! I grew up in NYC and I recognized the Flatiron Building and the Brooklyn Bridge. Very few automobiles at that time.

    Hardly any cars! Mostly horse-drawn carriages and the occasional trolley car. Fascinating!
