Was shopping in Rockley Music, my favorite music store in West Denver (Lakewood) with my early teen son. He turned on a digital piano and whipped out “Flight of the Bumble bee”. One of the store employs turned on the recording device on that nifty electric keyboard, and asked him to play it again! This would be for demo purposes. He played flawlessly.

I could have used some advertisement like this when I was teaching piano! Sadly, didn’t have any geniuses, just plodders!

I don’t think he is a fake but I don’t think he was a lost child. It is interesting that he was being videoed in the beginning. I think he his playing was awesome & yes I think Costco should send him to College after the advertisement he just gave them. This will probably go viral & that is great for the very talented child. I just think it was planned. It was great the the world will see how great he is but it was planned. I may be wrong. It is just my thought. But think how many parents may buy this piano hoping their child will be inspired by this video. I even hope kids are.

I’m just wondering why it was necessary to express a negative comment at all, for any reason, when his performance was so clearly inspirational and amazing. Just saying. . .

Rubbish. If he had been miming, it would have been more difficult to synchronise than to play.

Your video must have some audio sync issues for whatever reason. Maybe you’re watching on a phone or something. His fingers and the sound is spot-on on my end.

Your musical knowledge M Lovatt consists of what? Judging by that ignorant absurd comment, answer is zero

It’s amazing how far uninformed idiots will go to reveal their stupidity by pretending that they are knowledgeable without realising just how utterly wrong they are. This wonderful young player made a mistake, paused briefly and corrected it perfectly. You, KNOW ALL didn’t notice it, or was he also miming to a mistake which happened to be the recording?
If you don’t know, keep your silly mouth shut! Better…keep it shut anyway!

Quite obvious Eh? Mr Know-it-all Lovatt?
At 01.50 he quickly corrects a mistake. How did that get onto any pre-recording?
At 01.19 he hits a wrong note in the left hand. Nothing serious..He’s a very young player. It happens!
Did the recording have that on it as well?
At 0209/10ish he stumbles very briefly but recovers instantly.
Quite a recording which was allowed to go out with these, eh?
Quite a feat to ‘mime’ to these little points so accurately.

This is not to criticise that very fine musician about to embark upon a splendid career but to point out
that Mr Clever Devil Lovatt is a self-appointed Internet Guru and there are many, pretending to be knowledgeable
without realising how completely he exposes himself as an utter Charlatan. Fools don’t realise that they are Fools!
You must be ‘green’ with embarrassment, Lovatt!
Think before you switch off your brain, next time.
I can imagine your acquaintances spotting your approach whist standing at bar and muttering to each other,
      “Oh. Streuth! He’s here again!”

      In addition…
It seems to me Mr Clever Devil Lovatt that your worldly wise musical experience didn’t prompt you to comment on the fact
that the piano might have sounded even better, had it been tuned.
So, final proof, you DO have cloth ears after all.
      Yuckhhh. I despair.The world’s full of ’em!
