When opening the rear doors on. 4-door ‘61-‘67 Lincoln continental convertible with the top up, the door windows would lower by about 2 inches to clear the roof as they opened.

I remember looking for gas caps and dip sticks working at gas stations in the 50’s
    some hard to find.
Greasing cars some had 20 to 30 grease fittings.

I had a 1960 Plymoth Fury. The best part was the swivel seats. Now I need them being much older. I would be will to pay for them! It also had push button shift gears. Kind of neat. A really sharp car with fins!! I was 18yrs. old.

The pushbutton transmissions were a novel idea but ultimately had to be discontinued due to mechanical problems.

The Rare 1967 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham came with a Stainless Steel Roof and TWO Four Barrel Carburetors; Had a colored dial on the driver’s door to pre-set the Driver’s seat adjustment; Clear sun visors with horizontal lines that would block the sun as they were lowered downward and don’t forget the pull-down snack trays, Flower vase and Perfume bottles either behind the front seats or in the rear armrest for the ladies!

The 1955 Oldsmobile also had the famous “Wonder Bar” Radio with a foot switch that could change the stations

Don’t forget that most GM 60’s had the fuel filler behind the rear license plate!

Great video, takes me back to a great era for cars. I had a 1970 Continental Mk III whose quarter windows retracted straight back into the roof. Very cool. You captured the essence of the period.
    Thank you.

In the 60’s we ha a Chrysler Imperial that had a button/switch on the floor board next to the dimmer switch that when tapped it would change the channels on the radio. I fooled a lot of dates with it letting them think I was magic and could just change the channel by pointing a finger at the radio.. ep those were the ‘good ole daze’.
