Cat Plays Dead to Avoid Going for a Walk
Before you view this video, know that this cat was not hurt in anyway! Lucky the cat is seen being strapped into his harness before going for a walk. Once placed on the floor the pretty kitty goes limp each time they try to get him up to stand up or walk. He collapses down on the carpet and twitches his tail between his legs. I thought this was very funny at first, but then you can certainly see that there is a problem with this cat’s nerves or muscles that is being created by the harness. I’m sure the owners never intended to this on purpose for entertainment. I see others posting about this could see the same problem that I saw.

Did not enjoy that video at all….!! Obviously, something happens to the cat’s muscles when they put a harness on him…kind of iike when you “twitch” a horse and the horse is more or less paralyzed. Something happens to some nerves or something in the cat’s body rendering the cat immobile..! Not funny..!!

Agree with you.
This poor cat did not play dead, but the loving owners were too ignorant
to recognize the problem and made him fall over and over again, thinking he
was a big actor.

My cat does very well on a leash. She will not go outside without it on. I had her harness kind of snug and she reacted the very same way. Laughed until I had tears running down my face at her and got the hiccups. This cat reminded me of my Sassy cat. BTW, when I loosened it up she was fine with it. Go figger! lol

Lucky would rather be pulled than participate in a walk. Pretty funny!! Was glad to see Lucky up at the end.

This cat cracked me up, couldn’t believe how many times he rolled over. He was so smart!!!! He knew what he didn’t want to do….
