My cat will do that also but only when she wants to go out. And she will not go out unless we put her collar and leash on her.

What a clever kitty! But the owner MUST find a way to set up a normal and safe perch under a window for these beautiful kitties! They need to see the world! I have safe viewing place in each of my rooms in my house so they can see everything and they love it! And with screens in each window so they can hear everything too! And they love it!
