Backwards Piano Player
Playing the piano normally is difficult enough for most. Now imagine playing it backwards. That’s exactly what Jason Lyle Black, a pianist originally from California did.
What did you think of his performance? Please tell us using the comment section below.

This is really enjoyable! The young guy has talent! I used to be happy just to play normally! Would never have managed what he did! Lol!

I’m neither a pianist nor musician, but recognize talent when I see it and hear it. This is one talented young man and I enjoyed the heck out of his performance. Keep up the great productions.

Being a concert performing pianist for 51 years, & observing this gentleman execute the Scott Joplin Rag, ~ I can honestly say that not only was I entertained by an entertainer playing & performing the ” Entertainer” Rag, ~ I was thoroughly blown away with his quiet demeanor & his, matter-of-fact-disposition & then he steps up to the piano & begins changing all around the keyboard ! ~ It is a known fact that the cross vortex in the brain does right side brain,=left side body, ~ left side brain.= right side body. ~ O-kay, so I need an explanation of how this man crosses the cross vortex when he switches positions, ~ the right hand then is playing left hand parts & the left hand is playing the right hand melody. Hmmmmm……..

Think it has to do with talent??

Pretty impressive, indeed. There are some real good books regarding the effects of music on the brain, but, I have not seen such as study as you suggest in your comment. Indeed, his abilities at Showmanship in playing this instrument are just incredible, and if he continues to perfect them he will be an incredible stage artisan!

WOW! I have never seen anything like it anywhere, He is really something to see. I bet it took him quite awhile to accomplish that. Really great to hear and watch him play. Great job!!
