Army Interview
Regardless of your political leaning, this is just plain funny…
Note: This is an exact replication of a National Public Radio (NPR) interview between a female broadcaster, and US Army General Reinwald who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military installation.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Reinwald, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base?
GENERAL REINWALD: We’re going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery, and shooting.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Shooting? That’s a bit irresponsible, isn’t it?
GENERAL REINWALD: Don’t see why, they’ll be properly supervised on the rifle range.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Don’t you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?
GENERAL REINWALD: I don’t see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: But you’re equipping them to become violent killers.
GENERAL REINWALD: Well, you’re equipped to be a prostitute, but you’re not one, are you?
The radio went silent and the interview ended.
And all I could think was, GO ARMY

Just like what the general is going to do when he`s going to defend himself against his enemy or when he`s going to defend and fight for his country, he did great against the interviewer. she shut the woman up!
I`d say, GO ARMY, GO GENERAL!

It is just as offensive to assume because someone likes shooting sports and owns a gun that they are a craized killer! I vote for the Genwral.

No… it may be an insult, but it was an insult as well to say that he was doing nothing more than training killers??? was he not? You teach someone to respect things and people whether it be a gun in whick it is in this particular case… teaching a child how to use weaponry is not turning them into anything… genetics, life, people, society is what makes people what they are… or what they may have to be at some point as meza pointed out. The army and other military forces are out there fighting for what we commoners recieve and take for granted everyday and although he may have been blunt spoken he accused her of no more than she accused him of…
