Dumb U$ Americans using tipping in stead of wages or supplement, which has now trickled down to every service.
Please tip for your groceries next time, or the gas station.

No tipping in Europe.
Tipping is outdated and primitive. With the advent for minimum wages in the service industry and significant raises for these entry/student type jobs tipping is now outdated.
Tipping causes resentment, strive, competition, dishonesty among employees and yes even employers skimming. The greed is alive and well. Tipping apps now suggesting 20% 25% and even 30%, putting less confident patrons in an awkward spot due to peer/social pressure.
Tipping now is a cultural, greedy money grab that has no function anymore if me want to move forward as a society.
