Fabulous videos, that all I ever have seen, but these justifyheard fitting descriptions.
Years ago my company sold Collision Avoidance Computers (CAS) for ships costing $75k each . An early customer was Malcolm MacLean who started an early massive containership business to for ships to compete with aircraft more closely between the New York harbor and Rotterdam. He bought navy surplus power plants and built very large ships with a bridge forward (unlike tankers with aft bridges). They were called SL 7’s and could cruise at 35 knots so with one going and coming with the 6 ships going 30 knots and meeting sometimes one going and one coming with >60 knots (an extremely fast closing speed sometime on the trip meeting nearly head on) Over a several year perio, two times a rogue wave similar to he videos in the N Atlantic and crashed the bridge windows and flooded the DigiPLOT-CAS computer, which we replaced and although they collected insurance hit the bridge I don’t see forward bridge big container ships, but they are loosing containers quite often.
