It is a common trick. This little boy seems terrified which is why it wasn’t funny or cute to me.

My Daddy used to do the exact same trick to me and my two siblings. He’d even remark that oooops, he put our noses back on crooked! We loved it, and squealed with delight. Different people react differently to the same situation.
