When I pass a field of newborn calves, I see a lot of joyful jumping and chasing going on. Two weeks later it is very different. They have already learned to be afraid of people, especially the farm hands, and that the only place to be is hidden and fearful behind “mom”. It is almost like they know what awaits them very soon. This little pig is adorable, innocent, and fond of the fingers that offer a belly rub. Wouldn’t it be great if we just all got along and belly rubs could replace slaughter houses. When do animals, like these cute animals, become not ” cute enough”,and are ready for the terror of their lives!? When do we change our minds? Why?

It’s a pig on a blanket! Sweet little piggie though.

Looks like the piglet is loving it. It is amazing that it is a house pet. Great video!
