surely a washing machine would be a far more hygenic way to wash a cat. Toilets are full of germs.

Some of you need to relax. The same people that screamed animal cruelty when they saw some pictures of wet cats needs to really think when they put that juicy steak in their mouths. It’s a joke people. No cats were harmed. Way to go and ruin a perfectly good laugh. If I get anymore unreasonable comments like these, I will start banning them.

Ok..Elma…maybe you’re right that I took it a tad far. I’ve just been a tad annoyed at people who look at a joke involving animals…or see a video in which an animal is struggling; for example, a cat having a hard time getting through a “doggie door” because it’s overweight (but is NOT being tortured or injured in any way) and someone immediately points the finger and bashes the person who wrote the joke or filmed the video as being cruel for laughing at the cat and not helping it; when really, to me it’s not cruel at all. This is based on an actual video I saw somewhere. The true cruelty there (in the case of a fat cat having trouble getting through a small space) is the fact the person let the cat get so overweight to begin with and then expected the cat to be able to fit through a doggie door.

Tossing a cat into a toilet is cruelty…but joking about it…nah…not so cruel; because nobody is actually doing it. If they do it…then they’ve got some issues that they need to see a therapist for.

But anyways…yeah…sorry if I was a bit overbearing…just…I’m getting tired of people bashing videos or pics of people doing harmless things to animals and claiming they’re being cruel.

    *HUMAN CRUELTY*

ok, first of all, if anyone is sincerely close enough to the brink of mental retardation to ACTUALLY believe you should put your cat in a toilet, who in their right minds actually gave them internet access, let alone an actual animal?

THIS IS A JOKE PEOPLE. I say that it’s human cruelty to deny us the right to laugh at stuff like this. Yes. I am inciting HUMAN CRUELTY upon those who say that we have no right to think that saying flushing a cat in a toilet is funny.

@ A Random Person—Implied cruelty even if phrased in the context of humour, is just as bad as the act itself. Someone who originally submitted the joke is making light of an act of cruelty. Cruelty in any way, shape or form(format) should not be tolerated in a world where cruelty is the norm and not the exception. People have become so desensitised to cruelty that it is now fodder for these joke submission forums.

@Elama And Millie—I realise none of the cats in the pics are in a toilet. I have the full right to express my dislike for anything which even jokingly points to cruelty be it to animals or humans. Have we not got enough cruelty in this world without putting it into humour? Where is the humour of the good old days like Bob Hope, Carol Burnett, Victor Borge and all those classics who were never cruel in their humour? Oh, that’s right; it takes real intelligence to do that kind of humour.
