It is in fact a real photo. Saw a thing about this on Animal Planet awhile ago. Some guy in Alaska has a dog. That dog managed to befriend one of the local Polar Bears. Apparently they play pretty rough sometimes. Other times they just keep each other company and/or cuddle.
