Does everyone realize the hours of practice it took for this amazing child to play like this? And did you notice first two songs no music sheets all memory. Third song music sheets available but not even looking at it. As a musician myself (and I’m much older then he is), the practice can be grueling depending on how well you wish to play. I hope that he continues playing throughout his life, but not give up being a kid as well. Play time outside is just as important as “play time inside.” I hope he goes far, truly sweet, talented isn’t a strong enough word to use, but he certainly is, and so awesome. God bless you little one in your future endeavors.

When you have a natural talent as does this boy, is the practice still grueling? I think he is just doing what comes naturally to him.

I’ve been playing the piano/organ since I was a child. Now, I’m going on 65 in December. Trust me, with the hours of practice it still is grueling, I say this because reading all types of music, dealing with all types of music, you really need an ear for it. You need to want to put in the time and energy. I don’t put in as much energy and time as I did when I was younger due to the fact that my health is curtailing me from doing what I love to do.

Hope you are feeling better soon, Missy Lola. I miss the bounce you usually post.

Ruby thank you for your concern and support. I’ll be postponing the surgery on both knee replacements until late December early January since I’m having difficulty getting assistance in nursing care here at home. I live alone and have two dogs and two cats, I won’t be able to walk for at least 8 weeks after surgery only for rehab. I have to get the house organized before then, and due to the pain, my pace is slow. A friend took me to dinner and a movie tonight because I haven’t been out in months except to the hospital, pharmacy and doctors. What a joy it was to get out for a few hours of sheer pleasure. Again thank you for thinking of me, but please I need prayers from everyone.

This is for Lola, because they didn’t put a reply box in your last note. I, too, will be praying for you. If you know any members of the LDS (Mormon) church, you might want to contact them. I know the people in my ward (congregation) would help you, and hopefully those, wherever you live would help you, too. I’d like to put your name on the prayer rolls at our Temples, which works wonders, your last name would be helpful, but since this internet thing is so huge, you may not want to do that. I considered sending my e-mail address, but don’t expecially want it “out there” in internet space, either! May Heavenly Father bless you in this upcoming surgeries, and that your healing will be rapid! I have 2 different friends who’ve had the surgery and they are both pain free. Have faith that it will work out great, and take care. Pain is a heavy load, I too, have alot of it, all over, so empathize with yours. Hang in there, and call on Jesus for healing.

God truly did bless this child, And I agree that to be a child is still very important to his growth… I hope he learns, if he doesn’t already know,( and he probably does…) to give praise to God for his great gift. And I also agree, he had to have worked VERY HARD TO BRING THIS GIFT TO THE LIGHT… He is very precious, and family as well. God bless all of them.

This little boy is absolutely amazing! If you look you’ll see that he has different clothes on in the last song-at least he got a break

This is a very talented young man. Hopefully he’ll grow to love his music more as time goes by. There are so many people that have talents that just fade away. Hang in there little one and maybe we’ll see you on TV someday. I noticed that you smile, keep that up too.

Wow … Wow … truly amazing!! Looks like a happy boy!!

  8. Liz

He was certainly blessed by Heavenly Father with such a gift, and seems to truly enjoy playing. There looks to be a difference in age between the first two songs, and the last. Better camera and lighting, and I think he looks maybe a year older. He appears taller and has less baby fat in his face. I hope his parents foster his need to be a child as much as they do his music.

Liz this is the only way I can answer your response which I just received this evening. I’m Roman Catholic, and when I called the Catholic Church for the Blessing of the sick, I’ve received no call backs, no visits, nothing. The hospital called on a previous issue when I was in the hospital for surgery and they didn’t return the hospital calls. So I called my deceased husband’s Church he was Methodist, only on the phone for less than 1 1/2 minutes. The Associate Pastor called me and said: “I hate to be rude, but you’re not a member of this Church. And you certainly don’t expect me to ask anyone to come to your home or hospital to help you, go to your own Church.” I was in shock and devastated. I just thanked him and told him that I needed to hang up. I was in sheer hysteria afterwards. Where is the Christian Charity? Churches are sure willing to ask for money all the time, but in time of need and my husband and I gave money, volunteered our services for hours, were always there for them any time day or night. So I have left the Church. And I don’t know of any Mormon Churches around here. I just pray and talk to God here at home, I will never set foot in another Church again. Thank you for writing to me, I want so much to be prayed for and prayed over, but I can see that isn’t going to happen. Liz, somehow I have to figure out a way to let you and several others know my real name and my location. Just afraid to get it out there. ADMIN…PLEASE GIVE LIZ MY E-MAIL ADDRESS AND LET HER KNOW WHO I AM “LOLA” I would like to talk to her on a one to one basis as well. thank you. Pray for me everyone please.

Jean H. Thank you and your husband for the prayers. Did you have a knee replacement and I need two knee replacements. How long did it take for you to recover. They’re doing both knees so I don’t go under anesthesia twice and less time recuperating. I have a lot to get in order here, and the pain killers really are slowing me down. Please continue with the prayers and please tell me how you made out with the knee surgery. Less pain?! No pain?! What? Many thanks

Lola–do you have a Facebook account? If so maybe she could write u there? But then again that would mean you’d have to put your last name on here- unless if you do have a Facebook account you could make a comment in the Facebook commentary up top. Just an idea

ADMIN, as you can see, this is me, Liz, and I’d like you to PLEASE share my email address with Lola, also. Thank you, IN ADVANCE, for doing so.
Lola, I’m soooo sorry that you have been treated in such an unChristlike way. If I can get your address, once we can really “talk”, either by phone or email, I hopefully will be able to find a Bishop in your area, and try to arrange some help for you. If you were in my area, I have no doubt that we could help you with some of your needs. I also think I remember you saying you were 65, or thereabouts, and I was wondering if there is a senior center in your area, who could hook you up with home help care. Can’t your insurance get you some home nursing, and rehab help? Can’t your doctor and/or the hospital arrange some home help post-op? Since you have some time before your surgery, you have time to try to find the help you needs.
Suzanna, I do have a facebook account, but haven’t figured out how to use it! I tried to write to a friend, but couldn’t figure out how to “send” it, so my friend never did receive it! Not my idea of good! Hopefully our “ADMIN” will help so Lola and I can talk.

Jean H. I was told that if you do your physical therapy faithfully and with a lot of work, that it would be better for you/me. The physical therapy although painful would help you if you stick with it. I hope you are, and I’m sorry about your husband. Wish we could talk on a one on one, as this subject is irrelevant to the Amazing child pianist. Sorry about that, but I really need to talk about this as I’m alone and terrified about the surgery. Sorry posters, didn’t mean to take the attraction away from this wonderful child. I need to figure a way to talk without giving out my name. ADMIN, ANY SUGGESTIONS, OR COULD YOU FORWARD MY E-MAIL ADDRESS TO JEAN H FOR ME? Is that okay with you Jean H.? Please advise.

Lola, you know I have to add my two cents. I believe things happen for some reason. Sometimes, we never know what that reason is. Just last night I told a friend who was concerned about a physical issue that fear and faith can not exist in the same space. Easy for me to say when I’m not in your shoes. Just keep your chin up as all is as it should be. My prayers continue to support you in your time of need or just because you are a child of God.

  16. Lola

To Liz first: Thank you for writing to ADMIN to see if you can get my e-mail address. Everyday for weeks I have been on the phone trying to get help for after surgery. The surgeon told me that I need to find nursing care on my own and that it would be difficult to find someone to come to the house. I called, AARP, the police department (as I was a former police officer with my husband, and they were suppose to get back to me…still waiting after ten days so far), the Senior Citizens Community Action Agency, several Churches, my chiropractor, massage physical therapist (who both had leads but no phone calls returned), colleagues of mine, and the list is endless. Yes, I’ve been working on trying to get help to the point of being drained mentally, emotionally, psychologically and physically. Just pray that I will make contact soon with someone so I can get this burden off my shoulders, that I can stay focus on other things until surgery, as I have much to get done in the house before surgery, plus I have to get pet care (I can’t afford $85-$89 a day to the Vet’s hospital), and because my one dog is diabetic needs shots 2x’s daily, no pet shop/borders want to take on the responsibility. That updates you.

To Jean H. I was told that if you keep up with physical therapy faithfully that I wouldn’t need any or maybe they said many pain killers after the surgery. They are suppose to get me up the next day, work with me 2x’s a day, but I would need pain killers, but on an as needed basis, just not as many as I’m taking now. Once the knees heal I won’t need any pain killers at all. So please Jean H., do the physical therapy, stick with it, and know that eventually you will be off the pain killers all together.

To Ruby: Thank you for your support. I’ve been storming heaven, and there is a reason which I discovered why I haven’t had the surgery as yet. Why it needs to be postponed. Three people months ago promised me faithfully they would be here for me before, during and after the surgery. That they would help me with the house, the animals, and me. Guess what Ruby, all backed out gradually as I was getting ready to go into the hospital to have the knees done. Luckily I found out before the surgery, otherwise my house, animals and I would be up a creek without a paddle. They all pulled the rug out from under me…making lame excuses. I didn’t say anything, just cried when I either got off the phone with them or when they left. So I have the chance now to continue looking for strangers to reach out and help. I’ll be 65 in December, my insurance company said for me to wait until medicare kicks in December 1st, then they will pay 80% of all my bills, and the insurance that I have now will pay the rest as my secondary insurance.

That sums it up my friends, I have to close here. Took pain killers and need to lie down now and elevate my legs. Keep me in prayer and thank you all for trying to help and reach out to me. ADMIN, PLEASE GIVE OUT MY E-MAIL ADDRESS TO THE THREE PEOPLE HERE. I don’t know how to send it to them on a one on one.

    Many thanks and God bless

You hang in there girl!! It’ll all come out in the wash, as my grannie was found of saying. We’re never given more than we can handle. Sometimes, I feel God has a whole lot more confidence in me than I do in myself. Just watch the pain pills. Don’t want to become addicted to them and have to go through rehab to get off of them

You certainly have done a lot of varied things in your life. You are a survivor and will come out of all of this smelling like a rose. And sometimes, strangers become deep and lasting friends.

Thank you Ruby, I needed to read and see your response in print. I want and need the surgery asap, because i have been taking 1 pain pill every six hours in the beginning, now I’m up to 3 every six hours, that’s why I’m anxious to get the surgery done quickly. You’re right I have to watch the intake of pain killers before it hurts my liver and kidneys. But if I don’t take them Ruby, I can’t eat, then I become dehydrated and potassium drops.

  22. I am 74 yrs old my husband is 82. We talk to God every night before bedtime. Y es I am on narcotics but the doctor said you wound not get addicted if you have pain for it to work on. It is people with no pain and take them anyhow that becomes addicts. I surely hope this is true, other wise I am an addict but I am thankful there is something to relieve the pain otherwise I can not stand it. Prayers, Lola & I would not worry about damage to liver or kidneys for I have been on them for many, many years and still mow my lawn and grow flowers and play with my 5 great grandkids. I hope your family will come around soon!
