Woodpeckers are territorial and determined little pests. If they decide to make your home their home, one can spend a lot of time and money repairing the holes and trying to chase them away.

We’re having a problem with squirrels getting into our bird feeders. We’ve trapped 2 in humane traps and relocated them and we’ve got to trap another one.

That was very interesting. Good Photography. Thanks for sharing that moment. I guess I didn’t know that woodpeckers actually ate acorns. The squirrel has it made for winter time (as long as the woodpecker is not around)
